We promote good stewardship of United Way of the Yampa Valley resources, including contributions that are used to pay operating expenses. We refrain from using any organizational resources for non-United Way of the Yampa Valley purposes.
Solicitations and Voluntary Giving
We promote voluntary giving in dealing with donors and we refrain from any use of coercion in fundraising activities.

We avoid any conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest which could tarnish the reputation of United Way of the Yampa Valley as well as undermined the public’s trust in all United Way organizations.

Confidentiality is a hallmark of professionalism. We therefore, will ensure that all information, which is confidential, privileged or nonpublic, is not disclosed inappropriately. Specifically, information about the organization, its donors, employees, member agencies and programs, and clients shall be kept confidential except as it is necessary to release such information to Volunteer/ Staff of United Way as required to conduct the business of United Way.
