United Way of the Yampa Valley is making a powerful impact across Northwest Colorado, funding 51 unique programs that provide critical support to individuals and families in need. In the past year alone, our efforts directly served 1,358 individuals, with a broader reach of up to 13,781 community members.
Through our Grant Process, we allocated an incredible $488,333 to 46 nonprofit organizations, helping to sustain and expand essential services in Routt, Moffat, and Rio Blanco Counties. From food security and housing assistance to mental health support and early childhood education, these funds strengthen the foundation of our community—ensuring that no one is left behind.
Together, we are building a healthier, more resilient Yampa Valley.

We make local impact in three ways.

When a family wants to bridge the gap to become self-sufficient, they need the support of many different organizations. We strategically partner with over 40 local agencies to improve the education, financial stability, and health of local families. UWYV is also the leader of the Human Resource Coalition, a network of health and human service agencies that work collectively to address community problems.
