You can make a difference today and save on taxes when you support United Way of the Yampa Valley through your IRA. You can give a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA directly to UWYV without having to pay income taxes.

Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit

(CCTC)

Monetary contributions to United Way’s Early Childhood Education Fund qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (CCTC), You not only receive the state tax credit but also the state and federal contribution deduction. The Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit program provides a 50% state tax credit for any contribution made to a qualifying organization.

Cryptocurrency

Give back through cryptocurrency today!

The IRS classifies cryptocurrencies as property, so cryptocurrency donations to 501(c)(3) charities receive the same tax treatment as stocks. Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes.
