Human Resource Coalition (HRC) Annual Grant Cycle for 2025

The Routt County Human Resource Coalition (HRC) is a group of agency representatives and individuals with a vested interest in health and human services in Routt County. Its purpose is to provide funding and information to its members, act as a collective voice, provide coordinated services, and increase awareness regarding community needs.
Each year, the RC HRC Grant Review Committee designates the City of Steamboat Springs and Routt County community support funds to HRC grant awardees. The allocations are designated through a selection process using specific criteria developed by the Steamboat Springs City Council.
Two committee positions are currently open and will need to be filled by October 29th, 2024.

Process and Timeline:
- The application will open on September 17, 2024.
- The submission deadline is October 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
- The Grant Review Committee will review all grant applications between October 10 and October 31, 2024. The committee comprises non-profit, city, county staff, and community members.
- The Committee may need to ask questions about your application; please respond by November 11, 2024.
- All applicants requesting more than $3,000 of funding must participate in an interview. November 21, 9am-4:30 pm. Please click here to select a time on the interview schedule that works best for your schedule.
- The Steering Committee will send allocation recommendations and scoring sheets to the Yampa Valley Community Foundation on December 1, 2024.
- From December to January, the Steering Committee will present Community Support Funding recommendations to the City Council.
- In January, award letters announcing the amount of funding and detailing the distribution structure will be sent to the organizations that have been awarded.
- The first round of Community Support checks will be distributed to organizations in January–February. The city must receive your final report before payment is issued.
- In July, the city’s finance department will send the second round of Community Support checks for awardees over $10,000.
