The Presenters

Alexa is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who has worked in the UCHealth Heart and Vascular clinic for the last 9 years.  She also works with Dr. B. Peters in sleep medicine and pulmonology.  In addition, Alexa runs the CPAP clinic to help patients with suspected or diagnosed sleep apnea within the Yampa Valley.

She has experience in Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, and as a Hospitalist.  Alexa was awarded a Certificate of Added Qualification in Emergency Medicine in 2015.  She graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.  Alexa also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and practiced as a Registered Nurse at Yampa Valley Medical Center for three years prior to advancing her degree.  She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Hamilton College.

Alexa enjoys outside adventures with her husband and daughter skiing, camping, biking, fishing, and playing hockey.  She has been a volunteer coach for the girls Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association since 2002.

Erin Kreis is a Certified Fitness and Nutrition Coach, Yoga Sculpt Instructor and Fine Arts Teacher.

She has a strong background in fitness, from lifting weights with her dad, and winning bodybuilding contests at the age of 17 and 18,  to teaching an array of fitness classes since 2011.

She has helped many women reach their health and fitness goals with science-based fitness and nutrition strategies.
